Another Way to Interact

While RCC members have a great opportunity each month to learn during our professional development webinars, sometimes a more casual conversation might be what’s needed. There are many topics that lean toward more sharing info and best practices instead of the presentation-style session.

That’s why we offer Third Thursday Talk – casual Zoom meetings, designed as an interactive conversation among members with a designated topic each session.

Reserve your calendar for the third Thursday of each month, usually from 1 -2 pm ET. Zoom details will be shared here and through the monthly newsletter and social media.

Artificial intelligence is no longer theoretical—it is quietly shaping how many of us write, design, listen, and respond in our communities. At the same time, it raises real questions for faith-based organizations about theology, ethics, transparency, and trust.

In this Third Thursday Talk, we’ll set aside hype and fear to talk honestly about what religion communicators are actually doing with AI right now—what’s working, what worries us, and what kinds of guardrails and policies we’re putting in place (or wish we had). Come ready to share your experiences, questions, and experiments as we learn from one another and begin to name faith-informed principles for using AI in our communications work.
