Where to Stay
There are more than 27 hotels within a one-mile radius of Temple Square, giving RCC Convention attendees a wide range of lodging options in downtown Salt Lake City. Because most convention activities will take place in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building, RCC has not secured a designated hotel room block. However, many area hotels are offering discounted rates for visitors traveling to Salt Lake City during the Temple Celebration.
The Religion News Association (RNA) has a block of rooms reserved at the Hilton Salt Lake City Center, 255 South West Temple Street.
After you register for the RCC Convention, you will receive an email with a list of hotels offering discounted rates, so you can select the location and accommodations that work best for you.
Faith Communications at the Crossroads: Looking Ahead to Convention 2027
Mark your calendars and begin the journey—our 2027 Convention will gather April 15–17 in Salt Lake City around the timely and compelling theme, “Faith Communications at the Crossroads.”
At a moment when faith communities, media landscapes, and cultural conversations are all shifting, this theme invites us to explore where we stand—and where we are being called next. How do we communicate with clarity and compassion in an increasingly complex world? How do we remain rooted in truth while engaging new platforms, new audiences, and new challenges? Together, we will consider how faith communicators can serve as bridge-builders at these intersections.
This year’s convention will offer unique opportunities for learning and collaboration, including partnerships with the Religion News Association and the International Association of Religious Journalists. Participants will also have the rare opportunity to tour the newly renovated Salt Lake Temple, opening to the public for the first time in more than a century.
